Purpose:

We are aiming to provide immediate financial assistance to the victims or their family members who suffered from accidents in lift or escalator works as defined under the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance (Cap. 618).

Target Beneficiaries:

Those who suffered from accidents in lift and escalator works at construction sites of Hong Kong.

Type of Beneficial:

(A) Fatal:	HK$20,000.00 per case
(B) Serious Injury:	( 60% or above of loss of earning capacity as defined under Appendix 1 of Employees’ Compensation Ordinance in one injury ). HK$15,000.00 per case

Effective Date:

Applicable to accidents happened on or after 1 August 2012.
